I would love to be able to go to a pageant with bigger groups so that there was more competition to really see how Taylor could do. I like the the part about giving it your all within your age division--I would rather know a child won because they did great & gave it their all rather than know they won just because everyone wins. Although I still like the idea of everyone winning something because it really gives the girls self esteem & makes them feel like a princess. I guess after so many pageants you want to see them win because they are good at what they are doing though. Its kind of a toss up.
Funny thing is, one of the smaller pageants - East Coast Angels had 18 girls in the Little Miss division! They were all decked to the T too!!
We just watched a show on 53 about pageants--Mr Tim (is that his name) was on it--it was the glitz pageants & it showed the flippers & all the makeup etc...it was very different than the natural ones---I would never do that to my daughter at that young an age but to each his own....many of my friends & family feel that way towards us with just the natural pageants.
We met Christina at NES Maine & would like to try one of her pageants. She seemed very nice & sincere.
