As a parent, I would have to agree. After all, you wouldn't want a little girl rattling off current events or anything (unless it's about Hannah Montana or the Cheetah Girls LOL!). Although I do admit to "coaching" Eva in regard to interview. We've gone over answering in complete sentances. But then, it's still HER answers. IE: What's your favorite color? My favorite color is pink and purple because I like wearing them, and my room is purple. (That is her answer to that question, every time.)I also always go over what she answers on her interview sheets just before the pageant (I always photocopy them before sending in.) to refresh her memory on what she put down. I do stress to her to be natural and honest. Even if it means telling the judges she doesn't know the answer to a particular question, or if she doesn't understand it. I figure that will make her more comfortable, and that a judge would appreciate honesty over trying to bluff your way through. But that's just my opinion! I'm not a judge, which is probably a good thing!
