Praise the Lord, I am now cancer free! I cannot express how much I appreciate all of your Love, support, flowers, cards and even more important, your Prayers! Hats off to Chris & Paula on such a successful Pageant. I am looking forward to meeting there Queens soon, hopefully at the Governors. Our first activity will be to the Governor of Georgia,that date will be released early next week. We have begun to work out Nationals for July 18-20, 2008 in Mobile, AL. Details to be sent out next week. Royal Kitty looks forward to seeing old friends and making new ones! My mom has been more ill since her surgery than any of us knew, including the doctors. She had 3 ct scans yesterday and last night they had to do emergency surgery. Her colon had been leaking infection into her pelvis...thus the reason for her constant nausia and extreme levels of pain. They had to cut her open again and give her a temporary colostomy, and when her intestines are healed, they will do another surgery to reconnect everything properly. Please keep her in your prayers. She loves you guys very much and will be so happy to get well and be back to her old self again, and able to travel to do pageants.

A special thank you to Paula for finding this this great place for us, the rooms where awesome, the staff was wonderful, the food was great and we got some really great pictures, and it was nice all you had to do was walk out the door and walk over to the assisted living center. All of the Queens looked so pretty dressed up. I know Royal Kitty was a BIG surprise for many of the girls, they just loved her, and Royal Kitty was such a sweetheart. Callaway Gardens was absolutely Beautiful, Scarlette, Cheryl & Katie kept me nice and warm and the Gardens was wonderful to put us under a canapy and give us the first available Trolley. We Loved seeing Melanie Wood, she is so precious! I want to thank Brad, Nikki, Olivia, David, Kathie, Karley, Ms Rose, Melissa, Madeline, Nicholas, Ashleigh, Caroline, Raven, Pam, Chris, Leah, Robyn, McKenna, katie & Cheryl for all the lovely gifts. Cheryl Thank You from the bottom of my heart for getting me to Georgia this weekend and taking care of us! I hope I can repay you some day when I am back on my feet for all you have done for Scarlette & myself during this difficult time. I hope all the girls enjoy your towel wraps, they are great for when you are doing your hair, etc getting ready and you do not have to worry with messing your hair up or getting make up on your clothes, make sure you put your speical ornament on the tree to remind you of your time as a National/State Queen. Thank you chris for the pictures, they are great, we are waiting on the ones from Katie and Cheryl and Scarlette will load them into the album and make a banner. I loved Karley and McKenna's ornaments for the the tree, they will be a great reminder from year to year of your title. We missed some of you this weekend but certainly understand that it is much better to stay in bed while you are ill, or if you have a loved one who needs you like in the case with Megan & Salee. there Papa had a part of his eye lid removed due to cancer and is not doing well at all, he went to have the stiches removed and it was not ready. Madalyn I hope you are better, Ms Melissa told us how sick you are and how sad it was for you to not be able to come. I am sorry so many got lost this weekend but it was difficult to find if you did not have a map, we made a wrong turn and had a map. All in all it was wonderful, I loved seeing you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season, if you have Jesus in your life, your family and your health you have EVERYTING.

I took my last Chemo and Radiation this morning, go to the Doctor next wednesday to get my surgery date, for either late Dec. or early Jan. My Sister's took me to dinner at Carabas where the best little server in Mobile waited on us. Yes, it was Scarlette! She was so precious. Did a Great job. After dinner we went to the Bill Gaither concert, where I had the most wonderful time, such a sweet presense of God like I have never felt before! If that is what heaven is going to be like I sure do not want to miss it. It has been that sweet presense that has been with me the past 2 Months. God is so Good! I am sure you are all getting geared up and excited about your parades you are riding in this weekend! Be sure to send pictures. The doctor said that the tumor is the size of an orange. If it's in the opportune place in the colon, they'll be able to do radiation/chemo and then remove the tumor. If not, she may have to have her entire colon removed. Please pray that it hasn't spread any where else. This is going to be really difficult to deal with, but I know that everything will work out for the best. We're still going to be at providence hospital and for the time being are still in room 1030. I believe the doctor said that they're going to move her to the cancer floor soon. The next several weeks will be hard, so it will be good to have all of your support. I'll keep everyone updated if anything changes.
