Hello,

I hope everyone's outdoor summer season is going well.

I am looking forward to the changes we have in store for the Rumble In Fort Wayne. We have listened to competitors concerns, and are striving to make our races a better experience. In past years I have been able to add staff to expedite the sign in and load in process. This year we welcome Keith Ousley, a former 600 driver, and Rumble Series official back. Keith will be in charge of the 600 tech.

I am looking to move the 600s up from the lower level pit area, to the main floor behind the turn one and two stands. The 600s are a big part of our event, and deserve to be up where the fans can easily see them working on the cars the entire event.

The Memorial Coliseum has invested $5 million dollars in an upgrade of the Expo Center. Can't wait to see that, and they tell me it includes a new sound system.

Let us know if you have any questions. Entries will be produced and sent out soon.

We have updated our 600 rules, and these will be in effect for the 2009 Rumble In Fort Wayne. That will be our only indoor race this season. The dates are Saturday, December 26, and Sunday, Dec. 27 ( matinee show)

Thanks,
Tony Barhorst
