[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Actually, if you were 17 on February 1, 2008, you can compete this fall at Texas Teen. It's not all the girls for sure. You have to be under 19 (or 18) as of February 1, 2009.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: I thought that I read that several from the top 5 were coming back. I wonder about the top 15? Ashley Hughes (Miss RGV) might be able to come back. Is there a rule about bouncing back to teen if you competed in Miss? San Antonio should definitley and Bay Area probably could but her sister is Houston Teen. That could be fun-sisters competing together in teen!

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Maybe some of the formers could answer, but I thought once you crossed over to Miss, you stayed a Miss. It's quite a change, because they used to have an Aug. 1 date and now it's Feb. 1. So any senior girl (that just graduated) that turned 18 after Feb. 1 can compete! I am not sure I like that because we will have freshman in high school and freshman in college competing. Why didn't they also RAISE the age to begin competing? Maybe it's to keep girls in longer since alot of teens wait a year to start Miss.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: My understanding is that she is not allowed to compete for Tx Teen again. She made the finals for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading which is a reality show. Miss are allowed to compete if they have been on reality tv, Teens are not. That AND the show will be airing the same time as TX Teen. The Clarks go through the episodes that their contestants have been in, and they obviously can't if it's showing at that time.
