Subject: Actually, if you were 17 on February 1, 2008, you can compete this fall at Texas Teen. It's not all the girls for sure. You have to be under 19 (or 18) as of February 1, 2009. It's quite a change, because they used to have an Aug. 1 date and now it's Feb. 1. So any senior girl (that just graduated) that turned 18 after Feb. 1 can compete! I am not sure I like that because we will have freshman in high school and freshman in college competing. Why didn't they also RAISE the age to begin competing? Miss are allowed to compete if they have been on reality tv, Teens are not. That AND the show will be airing the same time as TX Teen. The Clarks go through the episodes that their contestants have been in, and they obviously can't if it's showing at that time.
