Subject: It isn't the titles that are helping them win, so numbers won't change anything. It is their affiliation with houston sponsors who tell al and gail who would be great. Not that al and gail can influence the outcome but they sure can help with staging, lineups and what they tell the judges. If a girl has messed up her sponors in a local...al and gail find out. they wouldn't want that girl. If she is being a brat (like I hear some are this year) they will not want to work with her. Titles, names, numbers...it is who you know and even then it doesn't help if you have a sentimental favorite.
