I see its the same crap with you racers....whatever happened to getting together and having a good race without all the drama.... Do you recall the Brownsville 4 wheeler days....no bitchin' no complainin'...I guess thats why class 5 is so much fun....you run what you brung and you drive it home. You dont have to worry about tube chassis this, nitrous that... Then theres the money...Thats what brings out the ugly...n e way thats what I see from you guys...ALL THE WAY FROM OHIO!!!!!

Well I remember that a blue 1972 chevy big block 427 used to drive all the way from Rio Hondo to Boca Chica Mud Races, place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, whatever the case was and drive home. No overheating, no cut tires, no nitrous, 632 c.i motors or 598's 540's. Oh and one more rule that I remember is that your shit had to have insurance & be registered. Whatever happened to those days......DING....MONEY & GREED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have done some searching and there is mud races, but they are more like mud bogs!!! There are only a few races a year that are muddrags in Canton, Ohio. I am pleased to see that the hate is still alive and well...it reminds me of why I am working in Ohio!!!!!!!!!! I will have to come and check out a race one day. The guys that bitch and complain are the guys that are actually playing by the rules....and we get stomped on for doing it. But then again, you can't please every one I guess!!!!!

Subject: well we got the first race in the books for 2008 a rocky start first off my buddy henry thomae gets hurt istill dont know at this time if he broke his ankle or not hope he is doing better then only 29 trucks made it out had trouble with lights track was soupy then came the big old ruts that some racers dont like and i understand to a certain point in the end it started drizzlin but overall we pulled it off so hope most of y,all had fun cause i sure did not but thanks for coming out see you next time

well i purchase a 78 pick-up with lift and 38 swampers.....i want to go try to race it but i have no idea how .........like do i just go over, what class do i go to whats the rules and the entry fee.....help will b appreciated since this weekend is the first race would like to go and take my truck thanks.....Rod

THE FIRST MUD RACE OF THE 2008 SEASON WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 16TH 2008. RACES START AT 7:30 P.M. IN LOS FRESNOS. GATES OPEN FROM 4:30 TO 6:30 FOR TRUCK REGISTRATION. WE WILL BE HAVING A DRIVERS MEETING ON JANUARY 19TH, 2008 AT THE PIT AT 5:00 P.M. WE WILL ALSO BE GIVING OUT THE GRAND CHAMPION TROPHIES FOR CLASSES 2, 3, 4, 5, AND 6. I WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED. Truck has an 81 front clip. It was built to be dependable enough to be my daily driver and also to go off road. I just finished doing a mechanical restoration and lost my storage for it. It is a very clean Oregon cab and an extremely clean California chassis. Has tilt steering, power windows and locks. I have a complete a/c from another truck that worked perfectly when I removed it. Condenser is installed and the rest is a simple bolt on.
