Subject: These days, it's become the main aim that the more bold, simple, and individual the design, the more noticeable you are. It's even cropping up amongst some of the boys (I just wear a simple blue tie, white shirt, black waistcoat, but other guys are colour-coordinating and experimenting like crazy - next thing you know we'll have pink waitcoats with diagonal stripes and rhinestones all over the shrit or something). So, in a way, the adjudicators look at the dresses, but a feis is never (and can never) be judged based on how nice the dresses are.
