Subject: Nutro does not stand by Guarantee

I have been feeding my black lab Nutro Venison and Rice for Sensitive skin and stomach for four years. Last bag I bought had "New and Improved" on it. About 1/2 way through a 30 lb bag she started scratching her sides, and biting her tail, resulting in loosing most of the fur from her sides and base of tail. Vet could not find anything wrong with her. Purchased different brand of food, and now one week later, scratching has subsided, fur is starting to come back. Problem with the food. Contacted Nutro and was told "we did not change anything", I responded with "then why the new & improved on the bag?" Response, "we added more venison, and removed some ingredients, and added other ingredients", OK, so you changed it, and now my dog is getting sick, I would like a refund for the food. Response - "We don't cover allergies", so I asked if she was a vet (which I think offended her) and she said no, why do you ask? I responded with "who said anything about allergies, I believe that you have a faulty product that is affecting my dogs health and your bag is stamped with "GUARANTEED" and I would like a refund" Bottom line is Nutro/MARS does not stand by the products they sell. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FOOD PRODUCED BY THIS COMPANY.
