Caring Crowns - Gwinnett Relay for Life! :) -- Ashley Jones, Ms. Cherokee County 2007, 15:53:21 05/01/07 Tue [2]
Hi sister queens!
As many of you know, I run a volunteer organization called "Caring Crowns", which is made up of pageant titleholders who want to give back to their community. We have a different event each month.
This is just a reminder that Caring Crowns' May event is the Gwinnett Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. It will be held May 11-12 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. This is an amazing, fun event, and we need more people on our team!
I would love to have any or all of the Cherokee queens on our team to help fight cancer, so please sign up for our team ASAP! The point of Caring Crowns is to give back to the community, and Relay is a GREAT way for us to come together and do this! :) Feel free to have your family and friends join too - the team is not JUST for queens! We've got some really fun stuff planned for Relay!
To join the Caring Crowns Relay for Life team, simply click the following link and then click "Join our Team"!

Great Job Emily & Ashley!!!!!! -- Ms Lori, 08:15:37 04/26/07 Thu [1]

Junior Miss Cherokee County, Emily Garmon helps out at the "Caring Crowns" Red Cross Blood Drive for the Virginia Tech victims! This event was put on in Lawrenceville, last Monday 4/23, by our own Ms.Cherokee County, Ashley Jones, founder of "Caring Crowns". Ashley does not have any pics, she said she was a little nervous about giving blood for the first time! She did a great job organizing this event and they had a great turn out. Almost 50 people donated blood, and since each donation can save up to three lives, that is 150 lives saved! Great job Ashley! Great job Emily for helping out!
