In the same time I've met an Irish guy with his 2 friends from Belfast and they was very nice to me! Especially the guy who accompanied me to the Taxi. Date Posted: 22:13:10 08/27/11 Sat We came over for a break,not knowing the Beatles event is on and what an atmosphere! We called into the Grapes for just a quick one,that lead to a long dozen! Such a lovely little pub,lots of Beatles fans enjoying the memorabilla,we had a meal,which was very reasonable and could sit under cover at the back to enjoy a cig with our drink,a rariety nowadays.We love Liverpool and this is the first,but definitely not the last time we will be visiting the Grapes,the prices,atmosphere and all round comfort is second to none,keep up the good work,Helen xxxx [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 04:52:00 05/18/11 Wed I was in the Grapes Friday the 29th april,what a blast good Bar staff the place was packed to the Doors and the staff done there job and having a laugh i loved it,got talking to happy people who said it was the best place in town. One Dinner hr.went into the Grapes was going to look at the menue and order something to eat,there was about 4 people in there,i was met by a surly irish Barman who turned me off right away,had a pint of John smith,s which was no compasrion to the Friday night i was there,i decided not to ask for a menue,the Barman put me off ,all youcould get out of himmwhen he spoke was fook.i drunk up and left.I,LL KEEP MY VISIRS TO THE NITE TIME.
