So are you anticipating Sunday’s episode? I can’t wait for the whole Denise/Frank/Ghetti showdown!!! It would be nice if Frank would start to fight for his wife...plus I really want to find out what happens to Ghetti!!! Does he really die or does he just leave??? So I am ranting here and am new to the whole forum delio...please bare with me.. does anyone have any spoilers????

- ITA with your assessment of how they are conveniently writing Frank. I like him and think he has a sweet spot for his wife. Denise needs to tell him what she wants from him. I don't appreciate Getti at all. He knows she is married and has hit a rocky patch and is preying on her discontent. She is struggling and he is not helping the situation. Now that the context of the kiss has been revealed, does it change your opinion of what Denise is doing? Does Frank being a caveman justify her cheating on him? Also, I hate that the writers seem to right him more caveman like in order to justify her flirtation/affair with the doctor. At least have her own her choices. Denise not owning her choices is what supposedly led to her lifelong unhappiness or whatever.

As you can tell, I'm not a fan of this storyline. I have no doubt they'll use the doc's death to soften the blow of her cheating. And yes, a kiss is cheating. If Frank kissed another woman, everyone would be saying he was cheating, and that Denise should dump him.

- I don't think one kiss constitutes cheating....There isn't a pattern of this with Denise, & she is the one who walked away & was shaking her head NO. She knew it was wrong, & yes it was wrong. But I don't think it makes Denise an adulterer, or oh my gosh she's going to kiss again or a cheater.       - I disagree...I think Denise should tell Frank, if they have any chance of saving their marriage.         The thing to me is I don't think you can start fresh in that situation. There will always be that cloud over the marriage. Ok, I know there are a few saints out there who can forgive and truly forget, and anything is possible in reel life. But there is nothing that I've seen in Frank's character that tells me he could be one of those. And to think that he spends so much time deployed? Nope. Right now, as far as we know, no one else knows of the kiss, or is even sure of the true nature of their relationship. Don't see telling as being the best course of action if she wants it to work. In my experience (limited to observation, I admit) people say they want to know when a partner strays.... but they really don't. It's easier to ignore that gorilla in the room.         I completely agree. What will telling Frank about the kiss accomplish? If she feels like she needs to confess to it, then he'll know it meant something to her, and it will only hurt him. If she evaluates her own behavior and does what she needs to to change that, then all should be well. She can address things with Frank without telling him what happened.     - Yes, she'd have to quit living on post, but her job at the post hospital would give her access to the post so Denise could still be seen on the show. If the writers are going for a mix of real life and drama, there should be a divorce and a combat related death for one of the characters to work through. I don't know any spoilers, but it is something I've been thinking might happen either in this season or next since the new season got underway. I know we had Amanda's death and Ghetti's is coming up, but that's not combat related.   - I don't think the audience is all accepting.....I was disappointed with the kiss, it was wrong & it should've never happened. That being said I'm glad it didn't go any further, but Denise has made a huge mistake & she will have to deal with it. My point is Frank isn't blameless, he also has to shoulder responsibility for his actions (his controlling ways) & they together will have to figure out if the marriage is worth saving. Denise has grown & changed, Frank refuses to do so, up until now. Just go to the IMDB message board,they are all about slamming Denise...I don't think its an affair...it was one kiss, a mistake in which Denise broke it off but it was wrong. - Well me, obviously you know nothing about Catherine Bell to be making such personal attacks about her character. Commenting on Denise is one thing but extending that to Catherine is totally out of line and uncalled for. She has been married to her husband for 14 years and they have been together for 16. She works hard at her marriage and is proud of it's longevity considering how most Hollywood marriages fare. She was totally against her character having an affair and said so. She does not write the scripts and is paid to play a role whether she totally agrees with what her character does or not. I find your remarks to be offensive and way out of line. Catherine is one actress that is extremely accomodating with her fans and is a kind individual. Maybe you should find out the truth about someone before you slander them.   - Whoah! Jubellant, I'm not sure that the previous poster was making an attack on CB's character or calling her a cheater. Tbh I've worried that they are making Denise too much like CB (cheating aside). Whilst it's good that Denise is gaining confidence, there should still be a little of the old Denise left. I just feel sometimes there are things she says that jar - for instance the comment about the motorbike "yeah, she's a sweet ride" with hands on hips., that felt it was something a different person would say.....I'm not making sense am I?!. - Well unless they have changed the scripts, I almost certain that it is a motorcycle accident, that's almost a given, and Frank finds out, so be prepared. Not sure how or who tells him, I'm assuming Denise since it appears no one saw the kiss. They go to counseling, not sure how that's going to go, and if they stick with the original plan, episode 13 will be the last one for a while and then they will air the final 6 eps later this year and start filming season 3 the first part of the year. So if that holds, I predict one of the things that will be up in the air will be the state of the marriage of Denise & Frank. - First of all Denise didn't cheat they kissed. Was it wrong yes, but it's not cheating. And the reason she was tempted by Ghetti after 20 years of marriage is because there is a big breakdown and problem in Denise and Franks marriage which Frank is a big part of. That all needs to be addressed. I also know and feel Denise will own up to her own actions and choices and own them. - Right now, with everything the way it is, it sounds like it might be the best idea. Right now, their marriage isn't going as it should be, they are growing apart and if neither is adding water with the wine, it will blow, therapy or no. However, if they'll eventually go that far, I doubt it. I think somewhere along the line, they will eventually both add water to the wine and start to work on their marriage again. This maybe 'separation' I think is likely just a scare, maybe even a cliffhanger but I think in the end, it won't come that far. - I don't know....My personal feeling is that Mr. Caveman won't be too receptive...I can actually see him sitting there with his arms crossed & that sour-puss look on his face, as he tries to blame Denise for everything. I just don't see Frank as a forgiving man, & I'm not sure if counseling will do any good. I mean I guess its a small victory that they both are seeking help, I don't know. Honestly a separation may not be the worse thing that could happen....maybe it would let Frank see what life without Denise is really like, maybe open his eyes a little to the fact that his wife is a real-life person who deserves to be respected & listened too. It sounds like it's a closed off channel (we have a few of those too that you can only see when you have a digibox and only in Flanders. ). A shame. I would have loved to see the second season, even dubbed. But, I am afraid, just like you Laurence, that the airing of the first season won't happen until October, the earliest. Strange, isn't it. - I think Roland's advice will have an impact on Denise....will cause her to really stop & think about the nature of her relationship with Ghetti. And will also hopefully remind Denise about how hard she was on Roland, & I'm hoping Denise will not turn into a hypocrite & do exactly the same thing. While I don't care for caveman Frank at the moment, I really don't want Denise to turn into an adulterer. There is no excuse for that, if Denise wants out then fine, divorce Frank & move on. But be upfront about it, & don't go the cheating route. C'mon Army Wives, we've been there done that, do we have to have cheating spouses every season? I haven't been watching Army Wives this season because from the get go it seemed like it was going to be an unholy mess, but per some sides I'm guessing Denise got a little bit busy with the new doctor, Chris?

Apparently, he dies and Denise goes to see his father, Alfred. They talk about Chris, and also discuss the the kiss they (Chris and Denise) shared. Yikes! Alfred tells Denise Chris was in love with her, and Denise protests a bit too much. Alfred convinces her that Chris did indeed love her, and Denise says she "loved him, too." Alfred says that if Chris had to die, at least he died in love.

I alternately wanted to laugh hysterically and blow chunks at reading this. Despite it being a rather unpopular opinion, I rather love Frank (although the writing for him is all over the map). There is some small victory in knowing he was right to be concerned about Denise's actions, although no doubt all of this will somehow be his fault.

- It would be interesting to note the circumstances of that kiss, who initiated it and Denise's response. She might state that she loved him too but love takes many forms.     - What I read pn another forum was this......"Chris dies, I know not how or when, although these spoilers are for the 11th episode. Denise goes to see Chris's father, Alfred. They discuss the wonderboy that was Chris, and his love of books, whatever. He quoted poetry to Denise, a lot, apparently. Alfred says he knows about The Kiss. Denise is all, Yikes! Alfred tells Denise that Chris was in love with her. Denise hems and haws about it, but finally admits that she loved Chris, too. Alfred is glad that Denise came into Chris's life, and tells her that if he had to die, at least he died in love". I don't class a kiss as an affair, but will she confess it to Frank?   - Again, there are different types of love. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you are in love with them...I can see Denise loving her friend, but that doesn't mean she's in love with him even though he might be with her. It doesn't mean Denise will love caveman Frank any less, but like Denise says to Roland in the previews, she lost herself along the way, & she's finding herself again. She allowed herself to put on the backburner, she allowed herself to be bullied, manipulated & controlled by a domineering neanderthal husband, & its about time Denise makes others (including caveman Frank) aware that she has needs, interests & opinions as well.   - I do not really feel that Frank has gotten a chance at all. When he cooked Denise dinner how that would have played out was cut off with his being deployed. When he and Denise were fooling around that scene got hijacked as he gets a call about deployment and Denise says he has to go see Jeremy. The ballon scene gets cut for another deployment call. I would love to start a post about that.

Can you see mistakes in setting, decor, said things, etc. Please, share them here.

I'll start.
#1 First off, I do believe they made a booboo about Roxy's car that is impounded. I wouldn't know why Roxy;s car was up for investigation in the first place. Why was it under investigation? Marilyn used Pamela's car and we didn't hear anyone else's car being impounded for the investigation. Why Roxy's? I think it was a mistake and should have been Pamela's but the scene was written and somehow Roxy's car got involved in there.

#2 they mirrored Pamela's appartment! The front door is now on the far right and the window on the left.
In season 1, her TV (that big screen Chase bought), was right against the wall on the left side. The entrance was to it's right with the door straight against the wall, the window on the right.
This season, the door is on the other side, the room flipped and though the TV is still against the same wall, it now is like it's a mirror image of what it was in season 1.

- Actually you're mistaken. Yes Roxy's car was impounded along with Denise's, Claudia Joy's and Pamela's. All their vehicles were at the Hump Bar the night of the bombing so they all were held for investigation. If you'll also note in episode 2 of this season Denise drives a silver Buick and she now has a black Ford. Claudia Joy drive a silver convertible and now she's driving an SUV. I don't believe Pamela has her vehicle back yet either. Just because they didn't mention everyone's car doesn't mean anything.   - As far as Pamela's home, Katherine Fugate noted in an interview that they use the same house for Roxy's home and Pamela's home. And that they were going to switch things around a little bit to make it look like a different house. So that wasn't a blunder either, just a change they made. Good eye though.
