Subject: I agree with "it works" above! Bring him alone, find him some other boys he enjoys at the feis or wherever, keep him exposed to other boys dancing (see inside)

my oldest is 16 and has been dancing for 12 + years - he has moved up the ranks and loves dancing. My younger DS is 4 years younger and danced for 1-1/2 years then quit, but now he is doing a ceili (we needed another boy for a mixed ceili and he was the right age). He is friendly with the other boy that is his age, and now he is considering trying solos again - he has been able to see over the years the fun that his siblings have with dancing and he loves the travel and the friends.
