Subject: Too funny!!! We tried the Fay's and they only have 3 eyelets and majorly gape in the ankle.

They have a more "substantial" pad that I'm hoping won't wear out as quickly as the softer jazz shoe style. They also have a strap like the hard shoes do, which might help with the heel (or might not?). The entire shoe is padded on the inside also, they seem like they'll be a good shoe once broken in. We'll see....
