If he's qualified to move out, why not move him? Our school requires the full year in prelim, but not in any other level. As a mom of 2 open champ boys, I would recommend getting him out and getting him experience in prelim where he will have lots of competition and will be doing 3 steps like he will at the O. -- Real Men Irish Dance
