Subject: Owen's Mom - so about when did you stop buying shoes just because your ds outgrew them & started needing a different pair or new tips due to wear?

In one year my ds is will be on his 4th pair of hardshoes.
Wondering if he'll ever get a pair properly broken in.

[> I share your pain. The most Owen went through was four pairs in one year, and then that stopped in the third year of high school. I was saved by being able to sell his used shoes to other dancers in the school -- thank goodness hard shoes are unisex. Owen has small feet -- actually wears an American man's 7, so his feet were smaller than a lot of the girls in his group :) -- They will stop growing....eventually! [> [> Travis is only 13 in grade nine & is in a 12.5 US street shoe...he's wearing these hardshoes for the O's but I have a feeling that he'll need new ones after. I have 4 pairs of hardshoes for sale right now, 2 are from dd. Hoping they sell next weekend! -- ecr mom to a ds and dd, 16:50:27 10/10/08 Fri [1]

sad but he's reached the point where no one at our location will fit into his shoes. It's funny how many girls have his initials on the bottom of their shoes.

If his feet grow for two more years - OH MY!
