Women are mothers and working mothers too. We realize how difficult it is to be both! No question about that! It is doable but I would venture to say that it is very difficult in even the most difficult job-let alone potentially running the USA! And, truthfully, something has to give...it does. I hate to say it but sometimes it's the kids and sometiimes it's the job. It is a fair question to ask her-what will it be? To not ask would be to diminish motherhood. There is nothing like your mother. Sometimes only Mom will do. And,what then? I haven't even brought up that her young daughter (minor child) is pregnant and her newborn baby is special needs...this is a woman with needs at home.

Not judging whether she or anyone else is right or wrong, there's only so many hours in a day and the needs of five children take up quite a few! I just find her to be sending the country very mixed signals. -- jmho, 20:01:54 09/03/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> Maybe she has family who fills in, you know like Mr.Mom, or the grandparents, or other family may even live with her family. Seems to me Alaskans are close family people. Or maybe she just has a live in nanny! Why suddenly working moms like Palin are being attacked? Me thinks the democrats are grasping at straws. -- ., 18:01:57 09/04/08 Thu [1]
