Subject: On the is it possible to live in a tormented country and not hurt those you love? I don't know- not if you're involved in any way, shape or form with the process of trying to change things- huge political change so often goes hand in hand with violence. I think sometimes about Gerry Adam's wife, and wonder how she's managed her stress and worry over the man all these years, Colette must be an incredibly strong woman is all I can say. I don't think I could do it myself, the worry would eat me up.

  • I think all good long- lasting relationships are built on a foundation of both good and bad times, weathering the bad makes you realize how much you depend on one another- if you can that is, I know this isn't a given in all relationships. But you have to have joy with one another, fun times, etc otherwise the rough stuff would destroy you eventually. (NT) -- celtgirl, 16:26:38 09/04/09 Fri
