I think Pamela didn't tell Jamie about the notes because she knows he would have told her to let well enough alone. He would certainly know what the rings signified and just what kind of men her search would lead her to find. On the other issue, I think we are certainly harder on ourselves than others or the Divine would be on us. -- Cindy's Cottage

I agree Carla. I think Jamie would have told her to no to get involved but I suspect that Pamela would not have listened and then Jamie would have to get involved, which is why Pamela didn't want to tell him.
