Subject: Exit Unicorns Chapters 13 and 14

Question to Cindy: How do you pick character names? Do they tell you?

Cindy's Answer: The characters come with their names already. I don't name them, they show up fully named. Casey is Casey Brendan Riordan in honour of his grandfather and Pat is Patrick Brian Riordan in honour of his father. I just knew this was how their family would have done it.

Chapter 13 "Journey Without a Map" and Chapter 14 "A Whiff of Revolution".

A few of my favourite lines in chapter 13 are:

Page 186 "I came because of him, I'm still here because of you, she said quietly..."

Page 187 "Connemara sat by the sea. An Ancient, misted landscape, marked, pitted, scored and scarred, an old woman settling down hard on her bones."

Which line or passage stood out for you or spoke to you in either chapter 13 or 14?
