Subject: The march definitely happened- if it's an historical event it's accurate- I take several accounts of the march, some from a personal view of the actual marchers and other views of observers etc and then I make sure everything is completely accurate- the streets, the actions of the police, the marchers etc.
In reply to: Denise 's message, "Here's a paragraph that caught my eye. "The air that streamed past him and caught the white, green and gold of the flag, smelled of fire and a heady freedom. It smelled to Pat in the dark autumn night like the beginning of something new, like a thousand possibilites attached to a million more, like a whiff of revolution. And the scent of it alone, borne on the night, seemed worth dying for." Question for Cindy What part of the march and ensuing aftermath (including the flag?) is historically accurate? Or did the march occur at all? The male companion of a friend of mine is interested in your books, and I mentioned your painstaking research, but then I'm not sure what is accurate and what comes from your imagination!" on 09:49:33 07/06/09 Mon
