As soon as I read about Jimmy Mack, I was nervous & queasy & was scared for Casey. I didn't think Jimmy Mack should be trusted. As for the IRA, I think my opinion has been shaped better rather than changed now that I am more educated about its history and that of Ireland. I'm still not sure I could speak eloquently with a full understanding though. I do see where the IRA is coming from but the violent methods they use to carry their message is what I disagree with. Now, I think that some branches of the IRA believe there is no other way and that violence is the only thing that makes people pay attention. As for terrorist groups today, I understand they have a message but I think it's twisted and they take religion out of context to suit their diabolical needs. That kind of message and the means to express the message are what I disagree with. Unfortunately, I don't think that there will be a time when any group believes that violence is NOT the answer. -- Cindy's Cottage
