From whom much has been given, much will be demanded. I think it's not only appropriate for Jamie to run for this office, it's crucial. He possesses the skills, and, whether he believes it or not, the drive to do the right thing. His country is already on the brink, and allowing Lucien into a position of power is almost certainly doom. I think all 4 - Pat, Casey, Jamie and Pamela - have big empty holes in their lives. Unfortunately, I also think all 3 men seem to feel that Pamela can cure their individual ills, but only Casey fits the bill for Pamela. -- Cindy's Cottage
