Chapt. 46 Q1) I wasn't too surprised that Pat had some inkling that things weren't as they were told. Pat (and Casey) aren't fools and they know how life works in Belfast. I was a little surprised that Casey hadn't told Pamela a little more given how open their relationship had been before Boston. 2) I think Pat is letting her know that he knows and understands what's between Pamela and Jamie, as well as the fact that Casey is aware.
