Subject: Belinda is a woman in love with a man whose heart belongs to another. Knowing this is perhaps one of the hardest things with which to live and be graceful. Trying to act normal and nice all the while one's heart is breaking is torturous. I think Belinda is hurt and is sorrowful over what will never be. Sometimes her heart and mind may not be in sync and therefore her behaviour may not be as stellar as one would hope, but then Belinda is only human. My heart broke for Jamie but also for Belinda.
