• 57.1) Is Jamie head of this 'club'? I thought it possible that he was a spy involved in it or he had an informant from the club, but I didn't think he was heading it up..eekk!   • Mahri, when I first read it and the questions that Casey was asking Jamie, I thought Jamie was the leader. However, I just re-read it and I think I misinterpreted. Jamie is alone with no one on his side from the "little committee". I found it on page 505. (NT) -- Tracy, 08:52:54 10/08/07 Mon

• 57.2A) I need, I mean need these two to have a respect for each other - grudging or whatever. I guess just as Jamie & Pamela needed to say the things they said in the library to each other, get it out and clear the air, so did Casey & Jamie. I'm a die hard Casey girl (think I've mentioned this before..not sure ;-) and I liked Jamie well enough in EU. However, through this book, our discussions and the authors insights I've come to understand a bit the feelings between J & P without instantly feeling betrayal on C's behalf. I've grown to love and respect Jamie more through the last half of this book, unlike Pamela I haven't loved him from the start, he's grown on me.   • I think Jamie had me from the first "hello", I've always had a strong attraction to Jamie, though it's hard to ignore Casey's finer qualities. I also enjoy the conversations between Jamie and Casey. They hold a respect and certain admiration for each other which is seldom stated. And Mahri, it's OK to love them both!     • I'm with ya Denise. I always though Jamie was a bit old for Pamela but besides that he was the one for me though I like Casey. I used to think Jamie was the one she really loved but she couldn't forget the passion with Casey. But in this book, I saw that it was more than just strong physical attraction. • 57.3) Oh gosh I was so anticipating this part after their long separation. But it was actually hard to read. My heart hurt for them :-( It wasn’t like Casey was on a 6 month business trip where they could keep in touch during his absence and something so natural to them just 4-6 months earlier is now awkward and unfamiliar..ugh! I understand the need to get physical right away though – I think we are more open after the fact (Glenn says he thinks I wait till after sometimes to bring up some things cuz I’ll find less resistance hahaha) but damn it’s got to be hard to put anger, hurt and fear aside and connect intimately with all that baggage still hangin about.
