Wow....Wow....Wow! What an amazing time I had at my first Novice of the Year pageant. Ms. Luane, thank you so much for all of your hard work to make NOTY such a fantastic experience. You are "all about the kids" and it certainly shows. The production number was incredible. I felt like I was at the Hannah Montana concert for the 3rd time. Royalty: Kudos to each of you.......you were all just FABULOUS!
Ms. Becky.....you mean the world to me and I love you to pieces. I wish you had been with us to see my beautiful dress on stage. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. WooHOOOO...a Best Fashion win. Thanks for always working so hard on my clothes.
Miss Cristina, you are so talented. Thanks so much for all of my routines and working so hard to help me be the best that I can be. You are so special to me and I appreciate you drying my tears and calming my fears. It's been a LONG 20 months since I hit the stage and my nerves got the best of me. Mrs. Val, thanks for your words of encouragement and being so sweet to me and my mom. Miss Ashley D., thanks for the last minute help before I went on stage. And a very special thanks to Ms. Kathy Raese, for showing my mom how to make that skirt look full and fabulous. You were so sweet to us throughout the whole weekend and we truly appreciate your kindness.
Ms. Teresea Yee, my mom says you can work miracles! Thank you for making me look so pretty. I'm sorry that each time I came to your room my hair was a "hot mess". You somehow worked your magic and made it look beautiful. Ms. Debbie, thanks for your help too with my makeup. I want some curls like yours for swimwear next time.
Congratulations to all of my friends on their wins, especially Allison, Brylee, Isabel, Jansyn, Alex, Ashley and Talin. Jansyn, girlie, thanks for loaning me the boots! They were my good luck charm. Could you bring them to each pageant? More than any crown, the sisterhood and friendship of pageantry, is what is truly special.
Daddy and Kade, thanks so much for coming all the way to Houston to cheer me on! To my cousins, Shayna and Sissy, thank you a hundred times over for supporting me. I love you both so much and I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful family.
