Deborah's mother and Scarlett's grandmother (Mary C Drum) passed away Wednesday afternoon. The family will be receiving at the church Saturday at 1:00pm and funeral services at 2:00pm at Winkler's Grove Baptist Church in Hickory. Please keep the family in your prayers.
Our regular photographer was unable to attend this year, so LMNC contracted with another photographer to come and take photos of the contestants as we have always done in the past. We did receive the cd with contestant's name on the cover, and we merely mailed it to the contestants that had purchased photos. We did not feel we had to look at the cd before we mailed them since we have never had any problems in the past with photos. We are attempting to contact the photographer to see what in the world is going on. They presented themselves to us as being professionals.

National Judy Burton pageant dress 6-8sm Differnet kinds of pink. Loaded to the max with stones.
sportswear no stones white with pink,lime and aqua ruffle polka dots. Too cute 5-7
another black casual wear with orange and white polka dot. Comes with a baker's hat.Used it for a halloween pageant. 6-8sm

Dress comes with a hairbow and choker. White sportswear comes with a custom hair bow, Black and orange comes with a bakers hat and hair bow.

I live in Person Co. and I was wondering if there are any pageants near Central NC (Durham, Person, Granville etc). Also what is the youngest age that can enter? My little one is almost 3 months now but I want to be ready for when she can start entering.

The Little Miss North Carolina State Queens are wonderful. They made an appearance at the Little Miss Dunn Harnett Pageant yesterday and were a tremendous help with activities and assisting the reigning Queens and Contestants. Chelsea and Ashlee were great on stage and both excellent speakers. Mr. David and I were so greatful to have them present. This court represents our state very well. Parents, Thank you so much. We look forward to seeing them all again.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the LMNC State Queens will be riding on the float with Miss NC, Amanda Watson (who is the Grand Marshall for the parade) on Friday night at 6:30 pm. The parade will be in downtown Oxford which is where the Masonic Children's Home is located. Come out and join us if you can.

Does anyone know how to get stright hair to stay curled for a long period of time. We have the worse luck. By the end of the pageant, most of the curl has come out. She has a couple parades coming up, and need her hair to look great. Hope ya'll can help.

Please help! We were at a pageant a couple weeks ago, and one of the little girls had these round rollers in her hair. Her mom told us where she got them but I have not been able to find them. They are flat on one side, they lay flat on your head, the hair wraps around them and they have like a cap that fits over the hair. The best way to tell you what they look like is- the toys that kids play with, its the sticks and they are held together by these round circles with holes in them, these rollers look like those circles. These rollers were like red and white. If you have seen these or know what they are please help. Thank You so much!

Does LMNC require parents to go out with girls under 4? Do they take points off if a parent goes on stage with a 3 year old? Just wondering if one 3 yr old went out alone, and one had a parent with them, would the one going out alone automatically have better chance?

Yesterday, Chelsea's facebook account was used without her permission after she failed to logout of her account and some very rude comments about her were made on it. The boy that wrote those inappropriate statements on Chelsea's account has now posted his apology for doing so on her facebook.
This should serve as an example that facebook, Myspace, and other social networking websites like them can be great tools for communication. However, you must also remember that they are a representation of you and any titles you hold. You must be responsible in the use of them and be conscious of the things you post. Any photo or text that you personally post or photos and text that someone else posts of you is a direct reflection of you as well as the organization you represent. Even if you are not wearing the crown.

Are you a LM Pre Limm winner or runner up but not a majestic winner. Heres your chance. Although we are no longer a LMNC Pre lim due to Nicole winning Stanly County OT ,we are offering any pre limm qualifier to have a chance at receiving ALL her fees paid to LMNC. We will have two majestic wiiners at our Dec. 6th pageant, and if that young lady has halready qualified to go to LMNC or qualifies in the furture we will pay her reg fees up to $700.00. I have been to several pageants lately and I have seen the beautiful LMNC Queens working hard to represent their titles. What a beautiful and talented court! You girls are doing a great job this year!!!! Thanks for always being there to help the contestants in the preliminary pageants. What a terrific court!!!! Good job, girls!!!!
