I would like to wish Jodie Osborne, Lynne Stevenson & Yasmin Gibb a safe trip as they set off on a mercy mission to Malawi, Africa this Friday. These 3 young (Irish Dancing) ladies are part of a group of 30 who are travelling to the Zingwangwa District of Malawi, One of the Poorest Countries in the World to help build a classroom block for pupils with special needs at the Catholic Institute Primary. Working in association with the charity Mary's Meals they will provide a porridge type dish every day, for many of the children it will be the only food they will get that day. The group of 30 have raised a fantastic £140,000 through various fund raising activities, some of which were supported by the ID community; The Scottish Regional Council, many Scottish TCRG’s and parents, LOTD Troup 1, Riverdance Corrib Company and ID vendors.
