Author: Ken and Glenda and the whole "HILL" crew
Subject: Ronnie Tye,and "The Hill"

First and foremost,Ronnie Tye.....every racer that comes to "The Hill" deserves and receives our utmost respect. I have known Ronnie and his family many years before we took over the track. They are not just good racers, they are good people. With out his and other racers/fans help we would have been unable to open the track this year.As for as him not having the fastest car, that may be true but he is the most consistent. He is one of the tracks most dedicated supporters. I will defend him and all of our racers that come to the track.
Now as for as the track is concerned.....I would love to have time boards down the track and we are always looking for sponsors so if you or someone that you know wants to sponsor these please give me a call......The return lane will take a little getting use too but we feel that it is safer in front of the stands than behind. The barrels are only temp.and in the mean time the speed limit in the return lane is idle speed in front of the stands and
ALL cars must stop at the time slip booth.
Why is it that racers talk about having an index race but when we have one only one or two cars show up. You tell me what I need to do and I will do my best to do it.
Now that's said, I want to thank each and everyone of our racers and fans for their great support. I have been doing custom car shows for 30 years and don't receive the support and loyalty that I receive from you. I am very proud to call each and everyone one of you my friends. THANKS

I for one went 7 years without a car to race but I still came out from time to time to see how everyone was doing. Their is only a few people still out that used to frequent the track when I used to go. I am still meeting the new ones and ALL that I have met seem pretty nice to me. Until the end of the last year and the beginning of this year I had not ran at the track since Ken had it. I would have to say it is in alot better shape and cared for alot better now than it ever has been. I for one will be out of town for the next two Saturdays but you will see me there pretty regularly after that.
