Subject: New to all this

My family and I are completely new to this sort of family entertainment. We have been out for two Saturday nights so far and cannot wait til we can go again! I am just wondering if there is some website I can be directed to so I can read up on drag racing like is out at Prairie Hill so when my kids ask me a question, I can actually answer them? I'm not familiar with the brackets I've read about, the index, electronic/non-electronic, and the low e/t that was talked about at the track yesterday. I'd appreciate any and all help or advice.

I am glad we saw the lights one night heading home from Waco and drove out to find the track. My family has a fun way now to spend Saturday night together and we have a blast doing it!! Thank you to those that run the drag way, we look forward to spending more time with ya'll!!

For more information on Drag Racing checkout the Speed Channel and "Pinks All Out" or "Pass Time" or your welcomed to come to the tower and talk to one of our staff or one of the Racers. Thanks Ken

Hey new Race fan, Come by my pit and I will give you the tour and let your kids sit in the cockpit of my car. I will answer any questions you have and make sure you know what to watch at The Hill.

Ken and Jeff,

Thank you both for your replies! I watched Pinks a few years back, will have to get back to watching it. Think the kids would allow me to change their shows off if we got to watch races!

I will see if my sister is up to taking the girls up to the tower next time we're there. As far as we've gone as of yet is parking next to the bleachers. My kids are the little blonde girls that wave at the racers as they're coming back down the return after their runs.

Jeff, I would be thrilled for us to have a chance to meet with you. My kids are so excited just watching the cars pass back by us, I can only imagine how beside themselves they would be if they were up close to one of the cars!

Any of ya'll are welcome to stop by and say hi if you see us there! We're the gold Endeavor that backs up to the return alley, I'm the big girl in the wheelchair with the two girls waving at the cars!

I appreciate the welcome to the track as well as the welcome here on the forums. We'll see ya'll at the "Hill"!!

I have not noticed your daughters waving at us on the return, I will have to watch next time so I can wave back. I agree with Jeff, you will have to let them come check out the cars close up. I think it is cool you have them interested in drag racing at such a young age.
