I do not know what a stick car is. My dragster does not run in the car classes. I did manage to roll my dragster over a few times a couple of years ago, though. No injuries other than financial. I hear that I still hold the tracks' only UPSIDE DOWN ET record at 4.726. Hopefully I won't do that again.
I am still waiting on parts from California. If they come in tomorrow, I can make it to the track Saturday. If not, it will be next weekend.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. There are some pretty quick and nice door cars at the hill. Each to his own liking, I guess. I just have always liked "stick cars". (Oops, the hillbilly inside of me is showing now.) I will get tired of running the stick car one day and throw one of my motors in something with doors on it. Kinda in a transition mode right now, anyways. See ya at the Hill soon.

I am not sure if I have those "nerves of steel" you mentioned or not. I still have flashbacks in my mind of seeing that concrete going past my head at 5" away from me at 150 mph. Everytime that dragster "flopped" and hit the roll cage on the concrete again, I was thinking "Is this the roll the collapses the cage in on me and ends it all?" Luckily, it stopped rolling and I could get out by myself with nothing broken, cutoff or even hurting. The dragster did not fair so well. Even now, every time that tree lights the green, I have to mentally focus to make myself hold the throttle down and block out those visions of the concrete. True enough, I got on the phone looking for another chassis and ended up driving 2600 miles to get the one I wanted, but I still would not call it nerves of steel. I DO call being a "drag racer" at heart. Stick car or door car, still a drag racer.
