O.K. boys an' girls,get ready and hold on tight!!! Just talked with the Kobster and he tells me that the joint was bustin' loose Friday nite in Rockadelphia at Club Risque when the Upstairs and Rock-N-Roll gave birth to a new baby sister named SORAIA !!! From beginning to end Sue and the boys filled the room with raw energy and emotion ! Kobbie tells me that producer Captain Obie really got a winner and smoked the tires with SORAIA'S new CD "Shed the Skin" ( metaphor for "out with the old in with the new") ...and new it iz! The windows hve been opened and Rock has just recived a breath of fresh air !!! To get a copy of the soon to be sold out CD,just get a hold of us here at the klubhouse and we'll hook yous up!!! Hi curious,you're not the only one. Briefly,my friend Kobbie is a free-hand pinstriping artist,hot Rod and Kustom afficienado,half-assed blues singer,promoter of fun and frolic and all around good-guy! I got this here forum started for him and to try and promote his art and antix,(if anyone really gives a krap) and it'z all in the name of BURNIN' RUBBA ,ROCK-N-ROLL and with a little bit of Harford County,Md. Hot Rod history thrown in to boot! So if yous got any interesting stories about Kob or Harford Hot Rod stories,feel free to jump in and contrib to us! Thanx fer askin'! Any more questions? Hey "Stinky",we love the new forum...so you're finally gettin' Kobster to go cyber! What an accomplishment...anyhows,I hear there's this new band coming to town ...SORAIA...Kobbie says they really ROCK!!! It's about time we get some new blood into this one horse town.We're so sick and tired of Freebird! If it can be pulled off,and we at the clubhouse hope it's true...Kobbie will pull it off! Their new album is due out any time and he says he'll get me one to put in the juke-box. Are you going to be able to make Kobfest in the fall? I hear he's FINALLY putting it together. Boy ,remember them Frosty X-mas Cruise days at the Big-M? We sure packed in the crowds!!! Good luck with the forum,I hope it succeeds,there's alot of history with the Bel Air scene and with the Big-M/Kobbie days and the guys at the clubhouse would love to share the stories!

So I wuz talking with Kobbie lass nite,and he tells me that legendary local rod builder Dickie Sills iz been in the hospital fer a much needed tune-up.Seems he wuz at a local cruise lass Friday nite an' he had a spell...went home early an' sez he wuz havin' a heart-ache so's he DRIVES hisself to the E-ward! Dig-it,figures he can drive faster than the EMT's can! So anywayz,as of lass nite his spirits iz up,sept he's missin' the Colonel.Hope all will be well,a good shot of burnin' rubba oughta do the trick. Kob wanted me to let yous all know,that if yous got any BIG-M photos or any photos of the rod or custom that yous were drivin' around Harford Co. when yous was a punk,then send them on in to this here site to share wiff the world...yous might just get famous if yous ain't careful.AS SOON AS I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO UP LOAD SOME NEAT-O STUFF ,I WILL. you're right,he is a legend. I know when we were all punks, all Kobbie would chatter about was that '65 Buick that use to run around Bel Air way back in 1972 or '73. Man, that car had a paint job,and it was'nt long after we first seen it cruisin' the old Harvey House and then down main street,that Kobbie would try his first kustom paint job on his bike,just to try and look like one of the "big guys"...LOL...he always looked up to dickie as one of the greats! By the way...congrats on this new site,Kobbie was telling me about it,so you're running it for him? Great,hope it helps him out,he can use the exposure...if you need any history photos of Kob when we were kids,let me know I'll get them to ya as I'm old and dumb...ie; computor illiterate. Welcome ladies and gentlemens to "Where' Kobbie"...everyone is asking, and only a few people know at any given time,and I'm one of them. Allow me to introduct me-self.My name is Larry "Stinky" Boranski,(Kobbie gave me the "Stinky" name many a year ago-go,why? only Kobbie knows)...so anywayz,I've known Kobbie ever since elementry school way back in Slate Ridge when we all lived in bootiful down town Whiteford,Md. I been building and racing real Hot Rods ever since 1974 and I packed up and moved to Californy in 1978,right after the public skool system released me after a 12 year stretch. So what I intend to do with this here forum that I'm tryin to put togetha iz to chat anything about my best bud Kobbie and to pass on a little of his history,escapades(and there be many) and kinda let y'all in on a lil insight and answer any qestions you may have on the world of Kobbiedom. Now this iz all in fun and frolic and iz to remain a stress-free ,slander-free,and smart-ass free environment.I can't tolerate pollution. My goal iz to promote my friend and support the Hot Rod scene of music and Kulture in the Real World of back-yard builders out there in the trenches,and to here from those who love and support the history and the legends of local Hot Rod people both passed an' present and to hear from all yous REAL Hot Rod guys AND gals that LIVE it not wear it!
