I was also a friend of Danny's growing up and just found out this morning about his death. What a shock. Danny was my 4th grade boyfriend and the first boy I ever couple-skated with at the roller skating rink. He was the cutest boy I had ever seen. Our parents were old high school friends, and we also remained friends throughout our school years. The last time I saw Danny was at our 5-year class reunion, and we talked for a good while that night. He had not yet achieved any of the fame that came later--he was just Danny, still with a smile that spread from ear to ear and lit up his whole face. I'm so sorry he's gone but so glad to know that he had given his life to Jesus. He was a precious, precious person.
