Date Posted: 05:44:50 08/31/07 Fri You always showed up at my door when the trouble and pain in your life were too much to handle on your own. I am humbled that you trusted me to help you through those times. I was thrilled when you finally listened and joined the men's group at your church. Having brothers in Christ to help you along is a great blessing. It was wonderful to hear the joy in your voice at each new discovery of God's love and forgiveness. When you called me your Angel on Earth it made me smile and thank God for allowing our time on this planet to be shared. When you couldn't drive due to your knee injury and we waited in the clinic for hours until the Doctor could get clearance to treat you and you bruised my hand from holding it so hard for so long, I really didn't mind... until you saw the bruises later and cried because you didn't mean to hurt me. Then when you kissed the bruises better... that's when I cried because your heart was so pure. For nine years my heart and home were your safe escape from the world. I am blessed to know that Kelli Salkin and Mark Johnson were also there for you when you were in too much pain to face your fans in Orlando and we could visit in your room and pray together. May God bless both of you. Now you are gazing on the face of God and finally at peace and free from pain. For your Mother: Kathleen, Your gift to this world was far greater than you may ever have dreamed. Your son possessed a heart of gold, a soul filled with compassion and love, eyes you could lose yourself in and a smile that would soften the hardest of hearts. That smile could also cause women to forget to breathe. There were times when his sense of humor was a bit risque... boys will be boys... but he was never spiteful. He was always a gentleman and respectful of his elders. He was a role model to untold numbers of people who wanted to improve their health and fitness. He was a true friend to all of us privileged to know him. God has gained a special Angel in Rob and the earth has lost a true Hero. Thank you for your love and guidance in Rob's life. May God's love lift you up and bless you in this time of sorrow. Please know that there are thousands of prayers being said for you and your family. Draw from this well of blessings and strength to weather the grief of your loss. Love and Hugs, Lisa [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
