Are there any states in which people actually enter and win the first year? I'm in a state Mrs. pageant this year for the first time--all of our previous 10 winners have competed *at least* 2 times, the latest ones 3 and 4 times. It's a major process it seems!

Yes, in MN Yasmine Ryback won her first time out! and placed top 6 at nationals!
