Subject: Hey there. I know what you mean. I was a contestant at Mrs. United States a few years ago and while some had me picked to do well, others didn't. And yes it stings. It stung this year when I was 1RU in my state and some said I was "disproportionate" or too muscular. Well, that's who I am and that's how God made me, and honestly, my husband loves it and so do I. YOU have to be the judge of what beauty is. People who come on here and bash are not beautiful people on the inside, they are hurt and broken inside. Avoid these boards. If you have a question about the pageant don't come looking for answers on here, go to your current queen or to your director. Because the truth is this. If God wants you to win, no matter what anyone says on this Board will amount to a hill of beans. So chase that dream.

>Participate and just go with the flow or give it all I
>got and just suffer the bashing later if I do well?
>And whatever happened to all women are beautiful?
