Subject: Maybe “stigma” is too strong a word. It was what came to mind after reading some of the comments. There was some mention of ND not doing well because they never do well, I am expected to get last, etc. I apologize if “stigma” offended you or anyone else. It just appears that some states are “pegged” to have stronger delegates than others for obvious reasons (larger population, women/girls more active in pageants, etc.). North Dakota’s a great state and I am proud to represent them at Mrs. America. My director is doing a great job preparing me for Mrs. America. I just thought this board would be a good place to get even more advice. Knowledge is power:)

[> Subject: I have been a fan of yours since you won. I think you are just lovely. I agree with the comment about having a rock star hair and makeup artist. That, and a good gown that's not to harsh of a color...I'm hoping you'll bring a gold, or ivory colored gown with your hair and skin tone. Just be confident and FORGET what these negative Nancys say on here. If you need advice, turn to a good pageant coach whose been through the system. Holly Ernst is from Minnesota and she'd be a good coach or Michelle Kant-Strom in Nebraska. Best of luck, I think you're going to surprise a few folks!!!!!
