Well, I will be wearing my Flyer colors because I graduated from UD and I am a huge fan of the football program. Of course after this game, I will be a fan of Duquesne the rest of the way in 2008. I was kind of bummed that Duquesne did not join the PFL when the MAAC died. I still do not understand why it did not work out.... Maybe adding scholarships and reduced travel were thought to be more beneficial to the program in the long run? At any rate, I am a fan of NEC football in general, and I follow Saint Francis, Duquesne and Robert Morris closely. I have a tough time picking a favorite when you guys play each other.... I have a soft spot for tiny Saint Francis as my brother is a grad and I am always amazed at such a small school fielding a Division I football program.

We need Dayton in the NEC. The PFL doesnt have an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, the NEC see has a condition bid and an automatic starting in 2010.
Cmon Flyer fan, ditch Davidson and Butler and join the NEC.

I just wrote a article for the Rivals Site on the Duquesne-Dayton Rivalry going from the basketball court to the turf. Duquesne and Dayton are both highly ranked academic, urban, catholic, private, tradition filled schools who really should be playing each other each year in both football and basketball.
I always thaought that they should be at the core of a new A-10 Football Conference with Fordham and some other similar upper level basketball, BCS football programs.
