I don't think the Dukes could qualify this year since they only have one game against a playoff league (Bucknell). Penn, which was a strong FCS team when the Duke played them would not have helped either since the Ivy League doesn't participate either. Wins against Bucknell, Dayton, Albany and Monmouth this year should be considered quality wins.

Has any "Mid-Major" ever been ranked in the top 16? I know that the Dukes were close a few years back before they lost to Albany in the windy slush. They may have had the highest ranking ever. I'd love to drop the "Mid-Major" name when the NEC goes scholarship.
