The 30-20 win of St.Francis is certainly historic for being the first one to send them to the NCAAs... But to fans unaware of the program's history the press coverage is making it sound the the past hasn't born any other fruits of note.

The only thing I don't like about the press coverage is that it sounds like the Dukes winning a conference title is a new thing. Duquesne has won or shared 14 titles in the last 21 years. Duquesne going to the Orange Bowl, Palms, and turning down the Sugar and Sun Bowl invitations are ancient history now.

I think I'm going to start writing a few more articles for my blog. I hope the new AD can pump in some life to the program. It deserves it. I'm so tired of hearing " where are the crowds?" When they cut a marching band and put in 2000 seats to make a practice field.
