Have things changed since October 10?

Let's see...

Good Things:

The Dukes' Two-Minute Offense - CHECK

The Dukes' Never-Say-Die attitude - CHECK

Larry McCoy - CHECK!

The Dukes' steadily improving Offensive Line - CHECK

Eric Duale's FG consistency - CHECK

The defense's growing ability to adjust and adapt - CHECK

The Dukes' Kickoff Return team (and Freshman Ryan Ho) - CHECK

Sean Patterson's confidence - CHECK

Freshman Aaron Fleck and the improving Punt team - minor check

Coach Schmitt's patience with our QB - CHECK

The Dukes' receiving corps - CHECK, CHECK, & CHECK!

The Dukes' defense gang-tackling - CHECK

ADD: Linebackers - particularly Totino and Kona

Not-So-Good Things:

The Dukes' Red-Zone offense - CHECK

Sean Patterson's unpredicability / accuracy issues - CHECK

Eric Duale's kickoffs - CHECK

Rushing defense still a work-in-progress - CHECK

While improving, the Dukes' Punting game still needs work - CHECK

Stupid penalties - CHECK!!!

Mental lapses in the defensive backfield - eh... not as much of an issue later in the season

ADD: Punt Returns

While I'm disappointed with the loss to Robert Morris; the oh-so-close defeat in New Britain; and the total collapse in the Homecoming game; I feel that the Dukes have arrived and the NEC has taken notice! Duquesne's next conference championship and first playoff appearance will arrive much sooner than later!

GO DUKES!

I agree with your add-on. Totino and Kona have done a great job. I think the whole defense has done a great job this season. Opfar is an upliftng addition to the coaching staff.

I just want to wish the Dukes good luck in their last season game. Finishing 3rd in the conference would be great.
GO DUKES!!!
