It was nice to meet you over the phone today, I think that we have many of the same ideas and that is to make a place for our racers to race. Our series that we have been running this year have come off the ground pretty successful. I would like to see some of your racers join us at the Oct 4 and, or the Oct 18 race at Evadale. It is a great hooking track and a very friendly gathering.
This would be a good chance for our racers to get to know each other and you can see what is going on down here in Houston.
It would be great to see everyone support each other.

Alright we have a race confirmed for Saturday, November 1 at Northstar. We've had several people asking for this, so we need a good car count to show Northstar we can put on a good show. This will also help us for next year. Tell your friends and competitors, we need them all. We will meet after this race to set the rules for next year, hopefully we will set a committee up from all the different combinations . The following rules will be used for this race.
1. ride height of a minimum of 4''
2. lexan allowed
3. drag radial tires allowed
4. stock firewall and floorpan to be welded from firewall to behind the front seat
foward or backwards hood scoop allowed
5. mufflers required
6. bolt on front ends allowed as long as it bolts in the stock location
7.must have steel quarter panels
8. cars must appear stock from the outside, to the average fan
9. head lights and tail lights must be stock and working
10. wheelie bars allowed
11. true ten five tires ( 29.5 x 10.5 s no w's )
12. big blocks and turbos 3200 lbs
13. small block 2800 lbs
14. oem transmission only
15. no hoosier tire, part # 18192d05

Pay out is based on a 16 car field.

Tulsa Raceway Park is puuting on a race this weekend for eveyone who was planning to come to the Clash! As of right now, we will run a Limited Street Class, Outlaw 10.5W, and an Open class which will include Pro-Mods, Dragsters, Etc.!!!!
Payouts in all 3 classes are $1000.00 to Win, $500.00 Runner Up.
ALL CLASSES WILL BE FULL QUARTER MILE!
Also, as of right now, there will be Bracket classes with regular TRP payouts and 10.0 index and 12.0 index.
$10 Gate entry for spectators!!

- Racers, due to the imminent threat of Hurricane Ike and amount of rain that is forecasted to to begin falling Saturday afternoon/evening, North Star Dragway has made the decision to cancel that OTS and TBHO race scheduled for Saturday 9/13. With the number of racers that will be travelling a long distance to be at the track and the high price of diesel, we feel that this will be the best course of action. We will be looking at a possible date in the future to reschedule this event and will be contacting both groups once a decision has been made. I just talked to Larry at Northstar. He is trying to schedule us for Nov. 1 with Texas True Tens.(all he needs is the approval of the owners) I need to know who will be there?
The rules will be the same as OTTA Houston. So Houston there's no excuses to not show up unless you're SKEERED...
Payouts will be similar to Houston, possibly more if we can find some Sponsers.
Everyone has been asking for this so show some support. Talk to your friends and competitors. This race will help Northstar determine if we will be scheduled next year.

Houston, TX (September 3, 2008)---High Velocity Impact Racing regrets to announce the cancellation of its remaining two events scheduled at Houston Raceway Park Saturday, September 20, 2008 and the Series finals, October 18-19, 2008, due to decreasing participant interest and lack of sponsorship funding.
“Because of the tough economic environment that exists today, we unfortunately had to make this difficult decision. This is the last thing we anticipated ever having to do,” series founder Bonnie Webb said. “The cost of racing has risen dramatically as reflected in our decreasing car counts. The sponsorship revenue we rely heavily on to operate our events on the level our racers expect just simply isn’t there.”
Webb fully expects High Velocity Impact Racing to return to Houston Raceway Park’s calendar in 2009.
“I am extremely disappointed to remove these two great events from our race calendar, but support Bonnie 100% in her decision,” said Seth Angel, General Manger of Houston Raceway. “No one is immune to the effects of our weakened economy and rising gas prices.”

Hey everyone I've been out of town for a week , I thought by now we would have a date set up at Northstar. I have been trying to contact Nick at Northstar to see when we will fit the schedule. I will know something this week as to if we are going to get a date this year.
Yes it has been dead on this site, come on people talk it up, post some pictures, talk some shit, lets hear about your combos!!! All the tracks monitor this site so they know if there is an interest in this class .
If we don't get a race this year . I know of a race that will help our cause.

- "No 4 Links" That rules alot of people out. ? How about we have a race with no engine limit, no weight limit, only requirement is 4 black tires. Also if you go faster than John you are disqualified. Would those rules be acceptable ? A track puts on a race, and someone always has to bitch about the rules. I WANT TO HEAR FROM ALL INTERSTED PEOPLE THAT WOULD LIKE TO RUN IN THE LIMITED STREET CLASS.
WE ARE THINKING OF MAKING SOME RULE CHANGES TO FIT MORE CARS FROM AROUND THE METROPLEX.
AS EVERONE KNOWS TO WELL THAT FUEL PRICE ARE KEEPING CARS CLOSER TO HOME, WE DO NOT NEED TO COUNT ON TO MANY OUT OF TOWN CARS.
I WOULD LIKE SOME INPUT ON THE RULES.
IF WE CAN GET THE SUPPORT OF THE CARS, I KNOW I CAN GET THE RACES SET UP!

I have asked you to call me several times, are you still alive, or do you just not give a shit about this class?
If you're not up for the challenges , step aside and maybe we can find someone who is. I believe there are plenty of cars ready to race in the DFW area, but they want to know information about the the payouts. I told you I would help, so what is the deal ? I just want to race! The reason that this class fails is because there is simply no leadership or organization. Please have the decency to respond.

- With the Texas MotorPlex race being held over a 3 day period now (Fri, Sat, & Sun) April 18, 19,& 20. the race at Texas Raceway (Kennedale) has been cancelled for Limited Street. I received a call today from the track manager in Monroe. He would like to book the new Outlaw True 10 organization and the new Ultimate Street racers for 2 races. One on June 14th and the other on August 23rd.
Please let me know how you feel about going to Monroe LA. Is it too far or can we do this? I also talked to the track manager at http://www.redriverraceway.net/, he is looking to book you guys for 2 races, this track is in Shreveport, LA. he also runs another track in Rusk, TX. and wants to do something there. I do not know this track but I will check it out. Any and all information would be welcomed in regards to this.
