I'm one of three boys too. Although our Mom spanked all three of us when we were pre-teens, our Dad took over the spanking once we each reached 10 or 11. At that age, we were still younger boys but had graduated from the over the knee spankings by Mom and Dad to bent over paddlings and strappings by Dad. The one exception to that for me was when I was around 11, Dad was away on a trip I think and my younger brother and I got in trouble with Mom for breaking something while wrestling in the house one morning. My brother was about 9 so he was young enough to still get it from Mom and I wasn't, except Dad wasn't going to be home that day and Mom was really mad at both of us. So she spanked my brother first over her knee and then I was next. There wasn't a rule that Mom couldn't spank us when we got older, it is just that she preferred that Dad handle it for the older boys and she would handle it for the younger if any of us got in trouble when Dad wasn't home yet. Maybe she thought that it wasn't fair to my younger brother for him to get spanked immediately and I had to wait for Dad but while I wasn't happy at getting spanked at all, I probably got off easier with her spanking me than if I had been grounded to my room until Dad returned and then gotten a worse paddling from him.
