Also, if she is still trying to come up with the right scenario, "We Can Work It Out." I suppose the question is, do you need to immerse yourself in an elaborate charade, ie effectively put on a play, or is it easier to just be yourselves? I know when I first started I preferred to act out a scenario, it somehow seemed less embarrassing to not be yourself. After a time I was happy for it to be just her and me as ourselves.
