You make it sound as though the only time we communicate is when I'm spanking her or reprimanding her. This is not at all the case. We are very open and as a family spend a great deal of time together. People, no matter the age are by nature private creatures. She has her personal thoughts, ideas and her privacy is respected. As an instance I would never read her diary, although I have read her texts and communications on line. I think the latter two are very important.
Her older sister is 13 and I have hardly ever needed to spank her. My younger is a different story. Although she is a very good girl, we have actually spoiled her a bit more, but she is a much more independent, sassy girl and finds herself in need of a spanking much more often.

I've already discussed on here why she was given the second spanking and although I do have some regret about it I feel it was justified. I don't find anything 'disturbing' about this.
Again I consider this particular matter closed. I'm sure that if she figures it out or wishes to discuss this or any other matter she will confide in me. I am still confused by this incident, but I appreciate all of your input and perhaps have a slightly better understanding than if I tried to figure it all out on my own. I also posed this question on another site and was almost unanimously accused of being a 'troll'. I'm not even sure what a troll is. I was apprehensive about asking for input on here as it appears to be a fetish site, but am pleased with the variety of insight I got here.
