Dear Emily, August 24th (third times the charm). Here's what you do and why. First off the wooden spoon hurts so much because the contact area is so amall. Smaller contact area = higher intensily of pain (simple physics). Therefore an impliment that contacts more area = pain being spread out over larger area. My suggestion, go for the lexan paddle. These are made of bullit proof plastic, they are thin because they are durable and the lexan will definitely drive home the message, especially to your sisters who do not wear panties (you might want to get them to re think that logic). The lexan burns on the surface but does not penetrate down deep because it's thin. I think the suggestion to get your mom to alter the intensity of the spankings to fit the crime is a good suggestion. You three can discuss this with her when you present her her present.
