My 5th grade year was a very interesting one. My school tried an experiment. I was among 4 boys and 3 girls chosen to spend my year in the 3rd grade class. Im still not sure what the experiment was meant to prove, but we 5th graders (who apparently showed high i.q.s and leadership skills) were to act as mentors to the 3rd graders and assist the teacher.
The teacher had to have an operation at some point in the school year and was off for several months. A long term substitute took her place. C.P was not allowed in my school. It didn't take long for the sub to put a couple of the 3rd grade girls over her knees for a spanking. They were 'play' spankings, but they were real. This was the early 70's and although things were changing this wasnt really a big deal. It was a big deal to me though as I got a guilty pleasure out of witnessing it.
As time went on, 3rd grade girls would line up and receive their spankings. They werent hard enough to make them cry, but they certainly felt them. The girls would giggle and line up for more.
We 5th graders would disassociate ourselves from this behavior and we all knew that there was something strange about the whole thing. Our little 10 year old minds werent sure why it was unacceptable, we just knew it was. But, as I shook my head in disgust with my classmates I was secretly thrilled by the whole scene. The sub didnt seem interested in the boys, just the girls, which was also odd, but exciting to me.
When our regular teacher got back she was not at all pleased with the way the class was handled and the student rebellion that she faced. At one point in the school year, I have no idea how the subject came up, but the subject of spanking or discipline came up and our regular teacher told the class of how when she was a girl she got switched on the backs of her legs.
If I wasnt a card carrying Spanko already, that year would have turned me into one. It was a very interesting and confusing year. The experiment was never tried again to my knowledge.

Keri, I am positive that your teacher was not only a tried and true Spanko, but a peadophile as well, whether she admitted it even to herself or not.
