Hi Keri,
Those paddles were universal. Sometimes I wonder if the person who originally brought the paddleball game to market had an ulterior motive in mind. Practically every mom I knew had one in their possession after the rubber band broke, which didn't take long.

I can tell you that in my school the teachers provided their own. I remember at the beginning of first grade the teacher from across the hall came in with one in her hand and said something like "here's the paddle you wanted". They both looked then looked at us and smiled. It wasn't long before I saw how it was used.

All kinds of crazy things fill my mind also, when I think of this subject. Frequently I think about having a "time machine". LOL!

Should I post the "fifth grade story here, or start a new thread?
